Pale intensity with a light ruby core and a defined tawny rim.
Moderately intense developing aromas of soft black fruit: black berries and a mineral hint: tar and smokiness.
A moderate acidity with thinning levels of somewhat sharp tannins. It is a medium bodied wine with notes of fruity notes of mature blueberries and secondary flavours of a gamey and savoury nature. The wine has moderate alcohol and a medium finish.
This wine may benefit from further bottle ageing which could soften the tannins rendering the wine more approachable.
